Marines conduct Combat Marksmanship aboard the USS Making Island amphibious assault ship
PACIFIC OCEAN -- Marines serving with India Company, Battalion Landing Team 3/1, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, shoot at silhouette targets aboard USS Makin Island here Dec. 1, 2011. The unit embarked USS Makin Island, USS New Orleans and USS Pearl Harbor in San Diego Nov. 14 to begin a seven-month deployment to the Western Pacific and Middle East regions.
We got to see the fine marksmanship of marines. One of the deadliest in the world. I would like to see next is their survival training in the wild.
ReplyDeleteThey are a dead shot to say the least. Excellent marksmanship borne out of years of firearms training.
